Hi, my name is Dan and I founded 3Dstate back in 2000. Through hard work and determination I have earned the company an enviable reputation for quality and reliability. Repeat custom makes up the majority of my work and as the testimonials show, clients only have good things to say.

I've been fascinated by 3D animation since the early 90's, first starting on Atari/Amiga whilst at school. I went on to study Graphic Design and started the daunting task of learning 3D Studio in my spare time. There was no internet or endless YouTube tutorials, I just had one book called Inside 3D Studio. Fast forwarding through the decades and 3D Studio has evolved into 3dsmax and I use Vray for all the rendering. I use After Effects for compositing, editing, 2D animation and Photoshop for editing still renders and creating texture maps.

I'm based in Halifax, Calderdale, West Yorkshire. It's a great place to work as I have easy access to Leeds and Manchester where quite a few of my clients are based.

In my spare time I will usually be found putting the miles in on my bike or at a hidden away crag rock climbing.
